At The Beach

Last weekend we took Raegan on her first airplane ride and headed to the beach. She was a great lil' traveler to my surprise. She didn't sleep at all on our three hour flight but she was entertained with books, a doodlepad and movies on daddy's laptop. We arrived in California at 8:30 am because of the two hour time difference. Since it was so early we couldn't get into our room we decided to take a little nap on the lounge chairs outside, eat breakfast and then headed to beach to see Raegan's reaction to the sand and ocean. She was amazed and loved both! We pretty much spent all three days on the beach just hanging out with a few naps in between. We rented a cab one day and went to eat a In-and-Out Burger since I had never eaten there before. Raegan was so worn out that day she fell asleep on the way there and continued to slept on me throughout lunch as well as being transferred back to her car seat and then Brian carried her in her seat back to the room and she napped a little longer. All the playing on the beach really tuckered her out!

The weather couldn't have been more beautiful. In the morning it was in the mid sixties and by the afternoon it would hit a high in the mid eighties. In the morning and evening we would play with all the dogs on the beach and during the day Raegan and Brian would sneak up on seagulls and chase them. She spent most of the time with her mouth open squealing in excitement/laughter. She loved throwing the sand on her head and never seemed to care about it being in her mouth. Just FYI....the picture of her drinking what looks like and energy drink is really just full of water :)
