We spent our 4th of July in Kansas again this year. We started the day with a parade (Raegan and Brady's first). She got lots of fun necklaces and collected candy that was thrown out. She loved waving her flag as the parade went on. Brady was mezmerized by all the load noises and people. Later that night Raegan enjoyed all the entertainment her cousins and uncles provided while shooting off fireworks. My brother, Justin, really went overboard and put on quite a display. Raegan's favorite "fireworks" are the ones you throw on the ground that pop. She tried some sparklers and smoke bombs too. Brady was content watching all the excitement. Once the fireworks were done the kids moved inside Justin's house and played with his reptiles. Raegan preferred the lizard but also held his ball python. She is much braver than I am....I won't go close to that snake! I don't like snakes unless they are at the zoo in a cage. We also visited the zoo one day. We were glad some of the cousins could join us. We all had fun! Anyway, we enjoyed spending time with our family and miss them already.
