So April came and went and I never had the chance to blog. I just threw a few pics into a montage and I'll sum up what we did. The first week in April, Raegan, Brady and I went to visit my family in Kansas for a couple weeks. Brian joined us on the weekends. Since we were there for Easter, we went to an Easter egg hunt at a park, had one inside the house (due to rain) and one out in the backyard even though it was wet. We didn't practice with Raegan at the first egg hunt we went to at the park and she only got four eggs. She wanted to pick them up and open each one to check out what was inside instead of waiting until she gathered them all. Meanwhile all the other kids were getting eggs. When we got home Brian explained to her what to do and she got the hang of it. The last hunt was with her cousins and she was racing around finding eggs. We enjoyed spending time with her cousins as well as some of my friends kiddos too. She is quite the "grandma's girl" when we are there. Grandma lets her do just about anything she wants. She does enjoy her papa too though. In a couple pics Raegan is modeling grandma's jewelry she found. She will try to put on as much as she can which sometimes means bracelets up to her elbows. We celebrated her birthay (for the third time) with her cousins while we were there too. Just another reason to have cupcakes :) YUM YUM!
Brady is growing fast. He started eating rice cereal and loves it. He rolls over and prefers his tummy to sleep as well as to play. He likes to sit in his bumbo seat. Since the seat is so portable, he often watches me fold clothes, cook dinner and get ready. He loves to sit on the bathroom counter and look in the mirror. I'm so blessed to have these little angels in my life and I'm grateful for my wonderful family too.
